Leaves on the AgriGro plants were visibly darker in color.
Research shows that microbial biomass (fungi and bacteria) is the leading indicator of soil health. Living soil fixes nutrients, improves plant immunity, stores water more efficiently, and builds soil structure. Therefore, a healthy level of microbes increases productivity while reducing inputs. www.microbiometer.com
The results are shown in units of microbial biomass carbon, which means it's showing how much carbon (in micrograms) is within the fungi and bacteria per each gram of soil.
Initial test shows that our microbial biomass in the AgriGro treated soil is very high for what is considered an agricultural soil. Fungal to Bacterial ratio is slightly higher than average.
In the Control soil, Microbial biomass is average for an agricultural soil as is the fungal to bacterial ratio.
Microbial biomass in the AgriGro soil was nearly double the Control soil demonstrating a significant increase in soil health.
Nitrogen, Sulfur, Phosphorus, and all micronutrients were tracking higher in the tissue samples of AgriGro treated plants.
Tissues taken 10 days after Foliar Blend was applied By increasing our microbiological activity, more nutrients are being cycled and released in the soil, and we see an increase in nutrient uptake in our plants. published
AgriGro on the left, Control on the right. More root hairs and soil clung to the roots more fiercely on the AgriGro plants.
Initial observation 5/15/24
Larger root mass observed with more soil clinging to the roots in the AgriGro section of the field. This is an indication of an increase in root exudates.
All macronutrients were higher in the AgriGro treated plants than the Control. All micronutrients, except boron, were also higher in the treated plants than those without.
Observations 6/20/24
AgriGro, average 4.5 tillers. Control, average 3 tillers.
Much longer and darker green flag leaves on the AgriGro side.
Tips are turning yellow on the flag leaves in the control section more prevalently.
Head sizes are similar between treatments, but heads in AgriGro area are more in the boot stage compared to early heading in the control area.
Root mass is fairly similar, but it is much harder to knock the soil off of treated plants, which is indicative of an increase in root exudates.
Slight cannibalism in lower canopy. More prevalent in Control section.
Building Symbiotic Momentum
The extensive biological capabilities of AgriGro's prebiotic technologies utilize the mutually beneficial relationship between plants and microbes called the Symbiotic Cycle, pushing it beyond its natural abilities. published
How a refractometer works is that it measures dissolved solids in a liquid. The dissolved solids measured in the sap from fruit or veggies are plant sugars, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and hormones. The refractometer is a simple, quick tool that can indicate nutrient density in some foods.
Flathead Valley, April 2024
There was 22% less volatilization on urea with S4 applied on a No-Till broadcast application.
There was a 42% reduction in volatilization in a conventional setting.
